Tim Holtz Inspired Box

Hi everyone, first I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who visits my blog and leaves a comment! This is a box I created at a Tim Holtz style workshop last Saturday with the lovely Andy over at Pinnacle Crafts. We had great fun playing and experimenting with paints and inks. The little clock faces and cute owl, were made by melting embossing powders and pouring into moulds. Had a great time with friends and was lovely just to take some time to play! Take care everyone and hope you find time to craft this weekend, Doreen x

LaLa Land Gift Card!

Hello, hope you are all okay and enjoying another crafty weekend, I had some extra time to play last week which was lovely. I have made these gift cards many times before but can't help myself as I just think they are adorable! I used the LaLaLand stamp wintertime Marci and coloured her with Copics and some stickles, finished off with some flowers and trim. The large latte cup is cut from Cricut's Love You a Latte, one of my favourite carts.
This is sneek peek of a cute little Minnie Mouse mini album I am making just for me, love her! Finally this is my Harry Potter memory box for my DD's friend who is a big HP fan so I hope she likes it, also adding a Harry Potter mini album to go inside with all her bits and pieces.
I used the Harry Potter range of papers to decorate the paper mache book box, found some little vials to add to the potions inside. Have a great weekend and happy scrapping x

Muppets and Flower Vines!

Hi bloggers, well another week is over and we are now into January, it's like Christmas was never here! This is a layout from my WDW holiday, it was taken in Holywood Studios and as you can see DS loves the Muppets! Trying to use up some old stash as supplies seem to be getting more expensive these days.
Sorry about the pics, it is so dark outside today, I received a new camera for Christmas but have had no time to play. This was something I wanted to have a go at, making my own flower vines, so had a little play the other day and this is what I came up with, need to invest in a glue gun! What do you think? Not too bad!
Well thats it for me, hope to get time to play later, thanks for all the lovely comments you leave, I do appreciate them x

Candy Cauldron

Hi had great fun creating this one for my WDW 2012 album, It's the Candy Cauldron store at Downtown Disney. If you look closely you can see the fantastic apples that look like characters, we loved the Monsters Inc one the best but at $15 dollars each we just took the picture LOL!
Thought some of you might like to see the xmas window dispalys for Harrods this year, hoping to go over the next couple of weeks. They are based on the Dinsey princess, gorgeous!

Disney's Brave and Xmas Is Coming!

Hi Crafters, another week has gone by and I still have a thousand and one things to do for the big day! This is my layout of Merida the character from Disney's Brave film, taken at WDW in August. We waited in line over an hour for this but I think she was worth it after all she is Scottish.
I have created the gorgeous background by using the lovely products from IndgoBlu, using the amazing flitter glue and flakes, you get the most stunning effects, check them out!
I will be posting this over at Disneyscappers if you haven't been over, then check them out, great inspiration for Disney layouts.
Finally the tree is up,
Christmas is nearly here, spent the day yesterday, pushing and shoving in the crowds of shoppers, next year all gifts will be ordered online, okay that's it from me, hope you have a fantastic week.
