CCG 201- Minnie Mouse

Hi, hope everyone is good, have just heard that I won Milagros blog hop over at CCG, so super excited to see what comes in the mail! This is my layout for CCG 201, following the recipe challenge as well. Loved creating this one, used my cricut to make the leaves, swirls, photo mat, titles and that adorable Minnie, so in love with this machine at the moment but still learning!!! Used some polka dot paper then inked and spritzed the life out of it, used lots of circles and leaves, the fabric was for the Minnie bow and shoes and some bits of the flower and metal was included in the brads. This was me at The Animal Kingdom park in WDW in 2008, thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment or ask a question x

CCG - 200 "Mat at 14"

I loved these colours even though I thought at first orange oh no! Used only things from my stash, found this Urbanlilly collection which had the perfect colours and cut the large orange blooms from this collection, I think it was called Urban Boy Collection. Used my Tim Holtz tattered florals and elegant flourishes die for the smaller flower and the flourishes coming out at the top and bottom. Not so keen on dripping for the designer's challenge so opted for the melting with the glittering and embossing which I went a bit mad with, used my Cricut (must use that more) to cut out the title and the butterfly I think it was from the DCWV Mariposa collection. This was taken this time last year in the garden as it was Matthew's 14th birthday getting ready for his 15th this weekend oh how time flies LOL! Looking forward to Friday six, yes six weeks off for the summer yeehaaaa!!!!!

Prom night take 2!!!

This was DD's second Prom night, this was the unofficial prom which she said was not as amazing as the 1st prom but she did enjoy the limo! I am now in the process of making 6 mini prom albums which I will share some time in the coming weeks, have found some amazing charms to hang on them. Just a quick post of DD's 1st prom night last Wednesday, got some fantastic pics and so look forward to scrapping these sometime soon tks for looking and any comments appreciated x

CCG - 198

Ok, this was my take on the Design call, I must admit I struggled to find a pic that went with the design challenge, but this was taken in Clovelly/Devon which is like time has stood still and no cars are allowed and the postman even has to deliver up and down the little narrow streets to to deliver everything with a sort of basket that he slides down if it's too heavy can you imagine trying to get anything delivered. There is a quaint hotel at the bottom and we vowed we would go back one day and spend the night, still to do LOL! I used cosmic shimmer in greens and blues on the large chipboard frame and then stickeled the edges, lots of shells, starfish and some gold metal embellies from Primark, the boat and old suitcase came for a Webster's paper and the background paper was My Minds Eye/Lost and Found. I used Cosmo Cricket Glubers to make the flower if you have not tried these it is so much fun, cut a clock face and added with a Tim Holtz facet. Huge congrats to the new Design Team, so jealous, wish you all the best at CCG x
