Scrap Around The World
This challenge caught my eye this month, loved the inspiring image and reminded me of how much I want to learn to use my sewing machine! My granny used to have one just like the one I photographed from a quaint shop last summer. check out the challenge over at http://scraparoundtheworld.blogspot.gr
Here's my take on the challenge, love trying out the folded paper from my friend Marilyn over at treasuringmemories, the above mood board was her inspiration so I had to play along! I used old stash and created the dressform from old Stampinton & Co papers that I have been hoarding, the big button behind the sew nice label on the rosette I made with my melting pot!

London days out. And some scrapping!
We usually go a few times a year but since our last visit they have opened a Disney themed restaurant and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutque based on the one in WDW Downtown Disney!
This was taken at AK in 2012, again using up old stash and using bits and pieces cut from the pics to enhance the layout, I thought it turned out ok!

G45 and WDW
Created this one over last two days and pleased with the results! Used Graphic 45's Botanical range for all the papers. I joined the sketch challenge over at Scrap 365 http://scrap365.blogspot.sg/2014/05/hip-hip-hooray.html
Tried to copy my friend Marilyn's technique over at TreasuringMemories blogsspot where she folds paper to look like fabric, I need more practise. Lots of fussy cutting on the flowers and butterflies and I used gesso on the wooden lettering and then coloured with Copics and glazed, thanks for looking x

The Great Movie Ride
Hi another dull, miserable day here! Just a quick layout using some old papers, not brilliant pics but love this ride at WDW/Holywood Studios it's not the most visually stunning ride but always brings a tear to my eyes at the very end, if you have ridden it you know what I mean!

Hi everyone, it's bank holiday weekend here in the UK so we get an extra day off yoooohoooo! I created this one for NSD over at Disneyscrappers if you haven't been over you should lots of lovely challenges to take part in all week. This was taken at The Animal Kingdom Lodge hotel in WDW, it's the most stunning hotel and this was a hidden Mickey we found in the lobby! I used my new stamp from the House of Zandra and coloured with Copics. The Mickey head is a picture of our room number just to remind us of that fab vacation! Thanks for visiting remember to subscribe I have a RAK when I reach my magic number, Doreen x

Copic Colouring and a layout
Hi everyone, have become a little obsessed with Copic colouring but it needs a lot of time for practising so roll on the summer hols! This is another AK/WDW layout from 2012, I grunged and inked the card and made the flower from the stamp I showed you last week, that stamp is so versatile it's my new best find! Shaded using my Copics and added some glaze and Diamond Stickles, also made the Mickey head from Stickles just leave on your craft sheet overnight and then peel off! I did not have to use any embellishments as again cut out labels from extra pics taken in that area. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend x

Hi been busy this week, organised my supplies after buying more at Ally Pally last week! Loving these Ikea storage boxes for my pens, easy to get to and I can see the colours, £9 each but worth it I think.

LO for Scrap Around the World
Hi had some extra time to play so thought I would try the challenge over at Scrap Around The World. I scrapped this layout as the mood board reminded me of this pic taken back in the summer at Whitstable. I used most stuff from my stash and some Tilda bits and pieces from the Seaside collection. I used the netting and the little light house tag as I spotted some in the mood board.

Anandapur Bus WDW
Hi hope you have all had a great week, I certainly have. This was a picture form our WDW trip in 2012 it is taken in Disney's Animal Kingdom park and is actually an ice cream van but all the times we have visited I have never seen it open maybe because we are always around this area very, very early in the morning.
The main paper is the gorgeous G45 paper stack Bohemian Bazaar, the little wooden banner with the ASIA lettering was fun to make. I used the gorgeous IndigoBlu flitter Glu and Gilding flakes. Other bits and pieces from my stash.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014
Hi can you believe it another year has gone by! I don't seem to have as much time to create but hoping to post more this year. Hope everyone is well and I still pop by from time to time.
I created these in the summer and just wanted to share them, I used Decopatch papers, the large letters are in my classroom this year.
