My Garden

Hi, thought I would share some pics I took yesterday of the garden, love this time of year when everything starts to open up and grow, love this tree fern how it survives our winter amazes me and lots of my Clematis have started to flower already, must be due to the fact that over the last ten days we have had a mini heat wave!

Hi everyone hope you have all had a fantastic Easter, spent most of mine enjoying the sunshine in the garden, felt like I was on holiday, sheer bliss. Check out colorcombosgalore for details of the 189 challenge, this was taken back in 2004, we used to have all the family over and hide chocolate eggs all over the garden for the children to find, for the challenge used Bo-Bunnys back to basics range for the background paper, also used some free papers from the Somerset Memories magazine, which by the way if you haven't come across is fab. Some flowers from my stash and the cute little bunny with the carrots I cut out on my Sizzix Eclipse holiday cartridge, used stickles to glitter and embelish for added shine and sparkle, thanks for checking out my blog, feel free to leave a comment or ask a question.

CCG - 188 Camp Mickey & Minnie

LOL I couldn't help myself spent the whole of Friday in my little scrap room being creative. This was taken at WDW in 2008, it's the Animal Kingdom park which we all adore, this was taken at Camp Mickey/Minnie and no it was not night time believe it or not it was during the day but it rained for nearly the whole 18 days we spent there as hurricane after hurricane came over the Orlando area, how unlucky where we! Have used my Tim Holtz die to cut out some flowers, again the inspiration was metal I used the brown metal flower and some metal brads. Thanks for looking!

CCG - 188

This is for the challenge over on colorcombogalore see inspiration and colours below, I used a picture taken in Paris in 2007, we visited for a few days for my 40th and had such a fab time, love that the tower lights up every hour on the hour looks gorgeous from the bottom and was pleased to get this picture. Took inspiration from the metal buckle and used some metal embellishments on my layout, thanks for looking and any questions or comments greatly appreciated.

Hi this is my layout for the CCG 187, used an old Disney page from Typhoon Lagoon this was the new water roller coaster that was new when we last visited in 2008, had such fun on here as you can see from the pics turned us upside down into the water! Used some sun brollies that I had in my stash and mainly used the challenge colours in my embellishments, my wet medium was the title which I inked and stamped, cut out and glitter glued which took forever, hope you like it, thanks for stopping by my blog feel free to leave a comment or ask any questions PS check out older post for chance to win some goodies!

Wizard of Oz

Spent the day in London yesterday, did some eating, shopping, more eating, more shopping, met DH for dinner and then went to see the Wizard of Oz which was brilliant, highly recommend it if in London.

Get Picky March - Inspiration

Thought I would try this one out, Loving the Juicy Couture inspiration pic, lucky enough I had some old label tags that matched the challenge and the picture of the girls at our pool party last summer, they just reminded me of how they are so design orientatied, some of them even had Juicy bikinis. This is my layout for the Color Combos Galore Challenge, loving these colours especially that teal. Used some new websters pages stash and some new Bo Bunny. Layered and gemmed the taylors dummy to match the colours and the challenge of layering, which I seem to do anyway.
